Foraois, (meaning “forest” in Irish), is a straightforward triangular shawlette that starts with a simple garter tab.

The stockinette section allows the yarn to speak for itself, while a cable down the centre spine keeps the knitting interesting!

The feather-and-fan edging can be worked in two ways; continue in the same yarn for an understated look, or introduce contrasting colours to make it a little more lively!

Instructions for both methods are included. A single 100g skein of sock yarn is plenty for the single-colour version, while extra repeats are included for the striped version.
