The Forest Mosaic Hats pattern brings a myriad of design possibilities as it tops off the Forest Mosaic collection. Design your own hats (why stop with one?) by choosing from three different colorwork designs, two brim styles, a beanie or slouch shape, and between two yarn weights.

Instructions are included for both fingering/sport and for DK/worsted weight yarns.

The rugged and textured colorwork design for this hat is inspired by the forests in the Pacific Northwest. And the colorwork is easy as it uses only one color on any given round!

The Forest Mosaic Hats are a great introduction to colorwork without the hassle of carrying two strands of yarn at once. The hats can be made with or without a pom pom.

The hats are truly unisex, are offered in four sizes, and can be made in many yarn weights. The size and yarn usage will vary depending on yarn weight and gauge.

Be sure to check out the matching Forest Mosaic Wrap!

This pattern has been professionally tech-edited and tested.
This pattern has simple colorwork charts with explicit instructions in the chart key. It is expected to look at the chart and follow the color and stitch guidelines provided therein.

Samples shown used:

Contrast Color (CC): Spincycle Dream State in color Cataclysm. Any colorway will work with a background that provides strong contrast.
