I love the slouchy hats, so this is that, a slouchy hat, with a simple stitch combination and at least four options to wear. You can wear inside out, or with the ribbed bottom folded, or both ways. You can choose make this reversible, or pick one of the sides only.

Yarn
Approximately 100g of any Aran weight yarn. The sample is knitted with 88g of Garnstudio Drops Nepal (75 meters / 50 grams).

Gauge
20 sts and 24 rounds to 10cm / 4in over 2x2 rib in the round. Use 4.5mm / U.S. 7 needle as a starting point for swatching.

Needles and notions
Gauge-size needle(s) of you preferred type for working hat circumference
1 stitch marker (4 extra markers, if you wish to separate decrease repeats)
Tapestry needle

Size
To fit head 55-60cm / 21-23in circumference
The size can be adjusted, for example by changing the weight yarn or the number of the needle

Pattern Notes
This hat is worked from bottom to top. After a short section of 2x2 rib, the body is worked, following the instructions.
If you want to make it reversible, you should wave the ends carefully so they won’t show when you use it inside out.
