Notes: Four Quarters is constructed front to back, hem to hem, in two pieces. The sleeve, neck, and body are all worked simultaneously, and the body is shaped using short rows in the chest, sleeve, and shoulder. The ties are picked up and worked down from the front hem edges, then the piece is seamed together at centre front, centre back, underarms, and side seams. The fit is meant to be close-fitting but not tight. Instructions for adjusting the upper arm circumference are included in the pattern, after sleeve sts have been cast on.
