Here we have a classic v-neck raglan with subtle framework detailing that provides structural interest while highlighting the beautiful color variations of hand-dyed fiber. Fingering weight yarn is knit at a loose gauge to create a wearable, lightweight garment with optional bust darts, waist shaping, and a relaxed or fitted sleeve option for a perfect fit for you.

Sizes
All of my patterns are #SizeInclusive through a 62” full chest.
(XS, S, M)L, 1X, 2X{3X, 4X, 5X} to fit full chest measurement of:
(28, 32, 36)40, 44, 48{52, 56, 60}“
(71, 81.5, 91.5)101.5, 112, 122{132, 142, 152.5 cm

Garment Upper Chest Measurement:
(39, 42, 44.5)48.5, 53, 55.5{59, 62, 64.5}”
(99, 106.5, 113)123, 134.5, 141{150, 157.5, 164} cm

This top is designed with 10-11.5”/25.5-29cm of positive ease at the upper chest. To measure your upper chest, hold a tape measure around the full circumference of your chest directly under your armpits. Add 10-11.5”/25.5-29cm to this measurement and choose the size that corresponds to the closest garment upper chest measurement. If your upper chest is larger than your full chest, you can size by your full chest.

Note that fit will vary by knitter depending on the difference between your upper and full chest measurement and the options you choose for your sweater. The sample is photographed on me in a size 1X, with fitted sleeves, size 3 bust darts, and waist shaping. My upper chest measurement is 41”/104cm, and my full chest measurement is 53”/135cm. It is more fitted at the full bust on me than it will be on most others due to the large difference between my upper chest and full chest measurement.

Construction
This top is knit with a raglan construction seamlessly from the top down. V neck shaping is worked flat before joining in the round and separating for body and sleeves. Body and sleeves are knit separately in the round entirely on the knit side of the fabric while the framework detailing forms on the WS. The finished garment is worn inside-out. Neckline is picked up and finished with an applied i-cord.
