Frazzle is a twist on the Razzle shawl, featuring two colors with a dropped stitch motif in the main section.

Materials:
Yarn:

NBK Merino Fingering Singles (400yds/100g each skein)
Color A: Midnight (black): 170 yds
Color B: Ink Blot (black/white): 320 yds

Needles & Notions:
Size US 7 32” circular needles
Tapestry needles for weaving in ends
Blocking supplies

Gauge:
5 sts x 12 rows = 1” in garter stitch on Size 7 needles

Finished measurements:
Length: 60 inches
Depth: 25 inches

Abbreviations Used:
K= knit
Sl= slip 1 stitch knitwise
M1= make one stitch
RS= right side
WS= wrong side
St(s)= stitch(es)
W&T= wrap and turn
YO = yarn over

Notes:
Blocking is important for this shawl to make the triangular shape, so slip your edge stitches and bind off stretchy!

The finished sample features 8 drop stitch sections and ends with 4 garter ridges. The pattern is written to features 7 drop stitch sections and end with 8 garter ridges. If you are interested in using all 400 yards of a skein of Northbound Knitting Fingering Singles, add 18 stitches to the section 1 cast on (this will require more yardage for Color A).

Would you like to end with a drop stitch section instead of the garter stitch section? Add two more stitches to the cast on for section 1 (this will require more yardage for Color A).

Shawl could also be knit with larger yarn and larger needles, though shawl measurements and total yardage would change from the sample size mentioned above.
