This fitted top is knitted bottom-up, worked in the round with lace at the bottom and worked flat in garter over the bust. “Feather and fan”-lace pattern forms soft waves reminding of a fresh water lake on a summer evening. Another feminine detail is decorative slip stitch that runs all the way up in the front of the top.

Flax and flax blends with viscose, cotton or bamboo are great fibers for summer knitwear. Flax is shiny, it cools you off and breathes when the weather is hot, and it becomes softer in use. Moreover, it has some heaviness, so that the garment drapes nicely around the figure.
