Freya Scarf
Welcome to SmileyGoose Designs!
The Freya scarf works up quickly and has beautiful texture. If you have a lot of minis to use up or a Christmas Advent of mini hanks - this is a great project for those!
SKILL LEVEL:
o Basic/Beginner
o Easy – You will need to know how to SC, bean stitch, and work in chain spaces.
o Intermediate
o Complex/Advanced
MATERIALS NEEDED:
o Ideally, any sock, sport, DK, or worsted weight (#1-4) yarn should work for this project. Just know that your yardage and hook size will vary from mine.
o I used Nicole Hue Loco’s sock/fingering (#1) weight yarn, approximately 1032 total yards. I mixed 6 200-yard hanks from 3 of her Color Riot packs (#Trending, Pistachio, & Mum’s the Word), approximately 172 yards of each color.
o US size E (3.5 mm) hook, or recommended hook for yarn used.
o Tapestry needle
SIZING:
One size but can be altered
Width: 9.5 inches
Length: 58.5 inches
All patterns are in English, using US standard crochet terms. I have added a lot of working pictures to help show how I completed a stitch.
Since these patterns are created by me and tested by humans, there is always chance for error. I am happy to address any questions or concerns.
