This pattern is a step-by-step written instruction in English (US terms) on how to create the fringed poncho with granny square motifs using intarsia technique (changing colors).
I also add schematics and stitch pattern charts. Please note all additional videos (in Russian) are available on my Telegram channel in case you will need some visual support. Although you will be able to follow this pattern without videos.

Skill level: intermediate / beginner friendly
Poncho sizes: One size, 120х120cm/ 47х47”. Length = 60cm/ 23 ½” , Length on the arm = 60cm/ 23 ½”
You may adjust the size by adding 1 row of square motifs lengthwise and widthwise

Yarn: Alpaca Wool by Infinity.Design ( 45% alpaca, 55% wool; 100 m/ 109 yds per 50 g)
in 4 shades:
White - 1001; 5 balls
Mustard - 2015; 5 balls
Graphite - 1088; 7 balls
Beige - 2650; 5 balls
Total: 22 balls
You may use any yarn in suggested yardage to substitute. Destashing - it’s always a good idea, especially with granny square designs.

Crochet hook 5 mm and 4 mm (for weaving in ends)
