When it’s time for a summer party or tea at the Ritz these fruit desserts are just the thing!

This is a wonderfully versatile pattern that allows you to create a whole range of different tartlets and meringues, all with a colorful fruity theme.

Includes detailed written instructions and clear photographs to help you crochet large and small custard tartlets, large and small meringue nests, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi slices, mango slices, segments of orange and lime, cape gooseberry and mint leaves.

Plenty of serving suggestions are included in the pattern, but feel free to make up your own delicious combinations too…

The fruits also make pretty little charms for bags, cell phones, key rings etc. just add a yarn loop. They look great mixed up together in a bowl as fruit salad too. The healthy option for dolly and teddy’s picnic treat!

Quick and easy to crochet using only basic stitches.

Light worsted weight yarn and sizes D (3.25 mm) and B (2.25mm) crochet hooks will give the following measurements:

Fruits - from half to 1” across.
Large tartlets and meringues - 3” diameter.
Small tartlets and meringues - just over 2” diameter.

This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.
