These little ghosts first emerged from a sweater-swatch gone wildly wrong, but they were sweet enough that they deserved a sweater of their own.

This is a top-down sweater, with a slightly spooky colourwork motif ringing the yoke. The ghosts’ little tails are echoed in a colourwork hem and cuffs. The sweater works well as both a fitted sweater or a looser, relaxed knit, and the sleeves are long enough to keep your hands warm.

Yarn

This pattern is designed to work with most DK-weight yarns. The sweater shown is knit in The Wool Barn’s Heritage BFL DK in Everyday Grey (MC) and Mist (CC). A yarn containing at least a little wool is the best choice for colour- work.

Sizing

There are sixteen sizes - from a 75cm chest measurement to 150cm, and there’s also guidance for making the sweater longer or shorter to suit you.
