The chains at the beginning of each row do not count as a stitch.
I am a tight crocheter so be sure to use measurements or gauge swatch.
My finished plant cozy laid flat measures 4.75 inches tall (measured in the center of the work), 5.75 inches across the top, and 4 inches across the base.
This pattern is based on a planter that’s bottom is 3 inches in diameter.
