This is a semi-mysterious KAL for the holidays! It is FREE until Dec 19th. I have shared a pic that gives you an idea of how the cowl turns out but not close up details.

I added a Group Thread for questions: https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/hands-on-knitting-center/...

I love the patterns that help me take a break in a stressful season but I have to admit that at times the mystery part of it adds stress! Hence you get a peek.

It is a highly wearable cowl - not too big or too tight. Knit out of a soft, squishy yarn it is yummy to wear. The colorwork is all easy - slip stitch and mosaic. You only use one color per round.

The KAL begins on Dec 19th and ends on the 25th. One could also choose to do it for 7 of the 8 days of Hannukah! You will get one clue per day. Depending on how quickly you knit the clues should take between 20 minutes and an hour. So take a little time for yourself this season!

The cowl uses a US 8 needles and worsted weight yarn. I used Manos del Uruguay’s Alegria Grande and Bocados - Bocados are worsted weight mini-skeins perfect for color work. I also worked a second cowl in two colors - a variegated and tonal in Alegria Grande if your local LYS does not have the Bocados. I included a pic of that alternative on Ravelry but not in the pattern.

Happy Holidays!
