4.00mm (U.S G-6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
3.00mm crochet hook (or one size smaller than the hook you used for your gauge) for the collar
I used Knitcraft Get Your Fluff on in the colour Teal from Hobbycraft (UK).NOTE* If you are still a beginner at making garments, I would recommend using a DK yarn with the same gauge. The fluffy yarn is extremely difficult to pull out without breaking so it is better suited to someone with intermediate to advanced crochet skills. My testers had success using a fine number 2 yarn and also a light number 3 yarn.
