Short-rows create an asymmetrical brim on the Glacier Ice Hat, so it will always sit at a jaunty angle. Knit this hat in the round from the bottom up using one color or change colors after the brim for a bit of fun.

Finished Size 14 (16, 18, 20, 22, 24)“ circumference and 7¼ (8¼, 8½, 9½, 9¾, 10½)” tall over deepest section of brim. Hats shown measure 18” (solid color) and 22” (two-color).

Yarn Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted (100% Merino; 210 yd 192 m/3½ oz 100 g): #083 Water Green and/or #063 Natural (see Notes), 1 skein.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 7 (4.5 mm): 16” circular (cir). Size 7 (4.5 mm): set of double-pointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers (m); tapestry needle.
