Growing up, my family would take camping trips up the coast from Los Angeles and one of the places we would visit was a place called Moonstone Beach in the Central Coast. There are a number of great places to see beach glass in California, the most well-known is probably Glass Beach even further up the coast. This shawl was inspired by the fabulous colors and waves you can see at one of these beautiful places.

This is the second in my 11th shawl collection, this one inspired by water. It is worked sideways and is highly adjustable to just about any yardage. It also works FABULOUSLY for those beautiful hand-painted yarns that you don’t know what to pair with. This design is easy to memorize and adjust for a bigger or smaller shawl.
