The Glow Up Peplum is an intermediate crochet pattern.
It is a top down, circular yoke garment that is seamless. There is no turning and the seam is barely noticeable from what stitches are used in each round.

It has waist shaping to curve in, shapes to our body, and also allows us to use less yarn, yay. All sizes have waist shaping starting with decreases on page 10.

The peplum bottom has increases on every other round for easy to follow instructions that give a fun, flirty flair as the end result. The increases start immediately after our we finish our mid-section. The peplum is also where we bring in colors 2 and 3. We alternate colors every other round and helps the mixed cluster stitches pop out even more. We will carry the yarn as we work for less ends to weave in.

My sample uses Lion Brand Truboo, a DK weight 100% bamboo yarn. It has amazing shape and colors available. I used 3 colors for my sample but you can choose however many colors to work up with this pattern. Yarn subs for Truboo would be Lion Brand Coboo or Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend. Knit Picks and We Crochet also have wonderful DK weight yarns that are cotton/bamboo blend yarn. Acrylic yarn can also be a good sub, as well as super wash merino if you want to try your favorite hand-dyed yarn. Regardless of your yarn choice, always do a gauge swatch.
