There are 2 size options for this shawl, so you can decide what works best for you! You’ll need a full skein for Color 2 (stripes and lace) for either size. For Color 1 (background body color), you can use a half skein to make the Small size, or use a full skein for the Large size. When choosing your colors, I think a high contrast or a subtle contrast both work. I tried to do a sample of each so you could see the difference.

The body of the pattern is very easy to work on while watching TV or traveling. The lace is actually a pretty easy repeat to get into a rhythm with once you get going.

Blocking isn’t necessary, but if you do, it will open up your lace stitching more and you can pin it into the desired shape.
