Yarn and hook: 1.600 yds of sport yarn of your choice and color, and a 3 mm hook (UK11/ US D).
I used LaVita Pirlanta micro-acrylic sport yarn in 4 colors (Powder, Gold, Orange and Burgundy - 100 gr/skein with approx. 246 yards/skein), and with the given color-work I used 300 gr of Powder, 150 gr of Burgundy and approx. 100 gr of Orange and 100 gr of Gold), or a total of 650 gr.
Note that if you want to have thicker and puffier fringes as well as a longer poncho, the amount of yarn needed might be slightly increased.
The given pattern fits sizes S, M and L.

Crochet stitches in US terminology: chain (ch), chain space (ch-sp), slip stitch (sl st), double crochet (dc). The poncho is made using the granny stripe pattern.
Other: stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, hair comb/brush for the tassels.
Measurements: 60 cm /23.62” center down; sides (shoulder down) 43 cm/17”.
Length of tassels: 13 cm / 5.11”.
Note: by continually repeating the granny stripe pattern, you can make it longer/ shorter.
