The Graduation Bear mini keeper is a small treasure keeper that can hold candies or toys. He’s part of the new Mini Keeperz series by the Knotty Designer. When he’s flat, he’s like a ragdoll, ready to be played or cuddled with.

The pattern uses worsted weight #4 yarn and an F (3.75 MM) hook. I used Caron Simply in Chocolate and Black. Thicker worsted weight #4 yarn may make the bear bigger. The bear is approximately 10 inches from head to bottom in a sitting position.

The pattern includes options using safety eyes, sew on buttons, Velcro or regular buttons. Pictures are included in the pattern to help with placement of pieces.

The bear is customizable - you can make the gown and cap the graduate’s school colours and add their grade/name/graduating year onto the stole.
