Named for the Great Smokey Mountains, this shawlette is a mixture of textures and is easier to knit than it looks. Garter stitch blocks of charcoal grey alternate with the shaded blues done in 5 colors of merino working the classic linen-stitch. Self-finishing i-cord on the edges (and used again to BO the final sts) mean that when you are done knitting this one and after blocking to finished dimensions … you are ready to wear this unique shawlette.

The sample used 300 yards of Cloudborn Merino Sock Twist in Charcoal Grey (MC) and the CC1-CC5, using approx 100 yards of each, was from the Blue Dacnis Mini Set.
