If you love twisted stitches, or you would like to get better at twisting stitches, this may be the scarf pattern for you. (Two methods of working both a right and left twist stitch are included in the pattern.) The twist stitches give this scarf a remarkable look of dimensionality, while the turtleneck will keep you warm in the coldest of winters. The pattern also includes instructions for an optional crochet edging.

This pattern is written so that you can choose to make it in either sport weight or worsted weight yarn, with instructions included for both weights. The focal stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting)
