I love brioche patterns with contrasting colors and dramatic gauge! If you are knitting brioche stitches in gray and rose it becomes something new: GROSE.

This quick to knit cowl combines bold garter stitch rib with two-color brioche stitches in one round. The slanting brioche part is responsible for its asymmetrical shape. The GROSE COWL sits comfortably over the shoulders while keeping the neck and ears cozy.

Very few pattern rounds are to be knitted and knitting in the round makes it easy to work! It uses exactly two skeins of Malabrigo Merino Worsted, a merino that highlights the texture of the stitch patterns perfectly.

GROSE COWL is an easy pattern to start two-color brioche knitting and a cozy knit gift for your best friend too. It can be knit in multiple sizes by changing number of stitches, needle size and gauge.
