The design of this cowl is to look like flowers growing. The seed stitch border represents the start of the flower from seed form; next sprouts up the stem and leaves of the flower and eventually the flower blossoms. This is why I called the pattern growing flowers: the flowers grow and blossom as you knit the pattern. I hope you enjoy!
