Gruene is knit in an easy to memorize simple knit and purl pattern stitch. The cowl is knit flat and seamed at the back neck. This unusual, knitted shape creates a cowl that wears like a triangle shawl with lots of coverage in the front and little bulk at the back neck.

Straight/circular knitting needle(s), size 10 (6 mm) OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE

Gauge
14.5 sts = 4” /10 cm; 24 rows = 4” /10 cm in pattern stitch
