This is the pattern for my Grumpy Gator cocoon blanket. The top is worked back and forth as a blanket, then you join and make the bottom a cocoon.

The pattern includes instructions for all 3 sizes, and has photos which should help you with any tricky parts.

Stitches are pretty basic, sc, hdc and dc for the popcorn stitches.
