We don’t know why Grumpy Yeti is so grumpy- doesn’t he know it is the holiday season? Despite appearances, Grumpy Yeti is soft, cuddly and quite lovable. He is knit in a single piece in the round without any seaming, then felted in a washing machine. His body is knit with a wool yarn and an eyelash yarn held together, while his face, hands and toes are knit with 2 strands of wool yarn. Once he is felted, Grumpy Yeti’s face and hands become nicely formed, while his body remains soft and plush. His features are detailed post-felting with simple embroidery. His eyes can be either plastic safety eyes or embroidery (for children under 3).
