This is a super fast and easy pattern for a simple but interesting headband. The headband measures 20-22 inch (with stretch); a standard adult size.

I used a cotton medium weight yarn. I think the cotton stretches less (unless wet) and I just like the sturdiness of it. You can use any yarn you like, just check your gauge. I love this cotton yarn by Peaches & Creme.

You can make it as thick or thin as you like by adding or decreasing the number of rows.
