The pattern has both written and charted instructions for both toe up and cuff down socks and is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles. After the toe and instep set up the socks are worked with 66 sts/size M and 74 sts/size L.

Yarn:

100 g of fingering weight yarn, app. 420 m (440 yds)/ 100g. The 64 sts sample socks were knitted with KnitCircus Greatest of Ease in colourway Kid in a Candy Store, 366 m/ 400.3 yds per 100g. The socks used all of the 100g with four full pattern repeats on instep/leg.

Needles etc:

2.25-2.75 mm/ US 1-2 circular needle, 80 cm/ 32 inches or longer
Cable needle, marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge:

34 sts x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking.
