HADŌ (wave motion in Japanese) is inspired by the wave motions in the universe (oceans, light waves, etc.) and how energy travels through those motions. This hat consists of three different cable stitches, ladder motif, and twisted knit stitch to give a little ‘flow’ to the design.

MATERIALS:

Yarn:
DK weight yarn approximately 150 yards/138m (65g)
Samples knit in Harrisville Designs nighshades ‘dashboard’ and The Farmers Daughter Fibers Craggy Tweed ‘Porch Pumpkin’

Needles:
US size 4/3.5mm and US size 6/4.0mm 16” circular needles, US size 6/4.0mm 40” circular needles or DPNs for crown decreasing.
