Halsklud is a Danish word for scarf or cravat. Halsklud is a rectangular scarf or shawl with large dots worked in stranded knitting in contrast colors surrounded by lace holes.

Work this shawl in one piece from the short side in your favorite color and dots in leftover yarn from your yarn basket.

The pattern includes directions for knitting a 58 x 200 centimeter shawl (Please note that the scarf/shawl was measured after blocking).

The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to keep track of counting (with the help of stitch markers), follow written instructions as well as follow a lace chart and work stranded knitting back and forth. (Directions is a combination of text and chart).

This pattern calls for a yarn with a yardage of approximately 300 meters per 100 grams. Pictured in hand dyed (natural dye) Merino 300 from Chester Wool Company.

Materials: yarn, circular knitting needle and stitch markers.

I have a loyalty program where you can choose a free pattern after purchasing my patterns for at minimum of § 25.0.

The pattern does not include finished items yarn etc. The pattern only includes instruction for knitting the shawl.
