This pattern is not for absolute beginners, it requires the ability to read the charts and your knitting and do a bit of independent thinking. It has charts and a short written instruction.

I wanted to try out making a round yoke sweater, so I re-used some elephants I charted a few years back and made this.

The sweater is seamless, knitted top down flat, with short row shaping for the front of the neck and button bands picked up and knit last. I made the choice to knit it flat as there is very little stranded work, but it could easily be knitted in the round and steeked.

The odd sizing comes from the elephants, each size adds one elephant.

If you have any questions or problems, let me know and i’ll do my best to help.
