Life is grand when you find your happy place. For those of us that love yarn and hooks and needles, our happy place is finding a fun and interesting project that is quick to make.

My Happy Place cowl is a quick little project that has a simple and pretty stitch pattern and edging. The cowl is crocheted flat starting at the bottom point followed by wet blocking, the final edging and seam.

The cowl is written to for a 24 inch neck circumference, using about 300 yards of light fingering weight yarn, and instructions are included for a 25 and 26 inch neck circumference.

The stitch pattern for both sections is an easy-to-memorize four-row repeat so you can zip through the rows as you relax and crochet. And, since the stopping points are measured you can adapt the pattern to use a different weight of yarn, if you prefer.

The best thing is that the cowl is very wearable. You can wear it tucked in with a coat, or over a nice t-shirt to add a little pizzazz to your outfit. Now, find that perfect yarn, start crocheting and find your happy place!
