Originally published in issue 51 of Crochet Now magazine, this inset mosaic crochet blanket was inspired by the Neil Young song ‘Heart of Gold’

Inset mosaic crochet is much easier to do than it may seem.
There are no colour changes within rows - the pattern is created by leaving ch-sps in rows using the first colour, and these are filled in with trs in the next RS row in a contrasting colour, leaving the ch-sps unworked behind.
