Materials required
Doily - 1.50 mm crochet hook, size 10 or size 12 crochet cotton (120 metres/130 yards main colour, plus 125 metres/135 yards contrast colour).
Coaster - 1.50 mm crochet hook, 25 metres/26 yards size 10 or size 12 crochet cotton for a single colour coaster or (20 metres/22 yards main colour, plus 5 metres/6 yards contrast colour).

Gauge
Rows 1-4 = 1¼-inches/3 cm approx

Approximate finished sizes after blocking
Doily - 10-inches/25 cm high x 8½-inches/21.5 cm across
Coaster – 4-inches/10 cm high x 3½-inches/9 cm across
