The first SandnesGarn KAL project in the Baltics is dedicated to the upcoming Mother’s Day - this multicolored three-part shawl is a beautiful gift for a crafty mother on its own, but also as a set of materials.

Even though it looks complicated, it is feasible for beginners. Having experience in knitting lace and slipped stitch patterns is a bonus, but Helene is also a great project for learning new techniques. If You have problems with the instructions, the Facebook group “SandnesGarn Baltic KALs” is full of knitters, who would be happy to help.

The shawl is made in three parts: first comes the lacy middle part, then the duotoned garter stitch pattern edge and then the slip stitch edge.

Pattern is currently available as a part of a kit. Pattern separately will be published online in June 2017.
