I originally designed these quirky coasters to be a ‘helpful hand’ for your morning coffee or glass of refreshment. This fun motif can be used for many things though, from garland to sewing onto your favorite project. Depending on your yarn of choice, you can make these any size you wish. Pattern is written for worsted weight yarn for a finished project of 6 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, the perfect size for coasters. But…work it up in bulkier yarn for pot holders and placemats, or try crochet thread for adorable appliques. Lots of possibilities!
