This is a crescent shawlette with a chevron pattern that was “hastily” designed as an alternative for a crocheted shawl offered during the 2017 Hill Country Yarn Crawl in Texas.

Beads can be added during the last chart (Chart C) to add a bit of weight and glitz to the edge of the shawl.

Gauge is not particularly important for this pattern, use a needle size appropriate for the yarn weight you choose and to make sure that you get the fabric you are happy with.

This version of the shawl used the majority of one 100 g hank of fingering/sock weight yarn.

Yarn Used: Frolicking Feet by Done Roving
Colorway: Key Lime

Make it longer by using more than one hank or combining colors!!

**ERRATA FOR CRAWLERS**

There is an error on row 5 of Chart A. The chart should read:

K3, YO, K2, CDD, K5, YO, K1 repeat section K1, YO, K5, CDD, K2, YO, K3

There is an error on Row 3 of Chart C. The Chart should read:

K3, YO, K1, YO, K1, repeat section, K1, YO, K1, YO, K3

This version of the pattern, which as been expanded to include written instructions and some pictures, has all the corrections, including abbreviations for some of the chart symbols that didn’t make it onto the legend for Chart C.

I will extend the offer to provide this digital version of the pattern to crawlers for one extra week. I will also have just the charts available for download once the crawl is over.
