This shawl was inspired by the beautiful Dragonfly colorway Middle Earth. The gentle slopes on the edging put me in the mind of rolling hills. In the center of Middle Earth, just north of the Shire, you will find the Hills of Evendim.

Details: The shawl is cast on along the short edge with the edging knitted at the same time. A striking lace/cable pattern is repeated over the entire piece. The pattern can easily be altered to be wider or longer with the given instructions.

Size: 16 inches x 80 inches
(Finished size does not including the edging. Aggressive blocking is necessary to open up the lace.)

Yarn: 2 hanks Dragonfly Fibers Pixie in color Middle Earth

Needle: US size 7 / 4.5 mm needles
