These little egg holders are seamless and worked entirely in the round from the bottom up. Instructions are given specifically for working on 4 double-pointed needles, but you could use any small circular method you prefer.

Uses just small amounts of DK or light worsted yarn, good for using up scraps.

Size is approximately 4 cm (1 1/2 inches) in height and the inner circumference is about 13 cm (5 inches). They should fit most hens’ eggs, providing the gauge is obtained. Gauge is given over one inch so it can be checked on the holder as you make it. There are also tips for modifying the pattern to make a deeper egg holder if you need to.

Really very quick to make, and lots of fun for Easter :)
