Say hello to Holly, my first sock design! These shorties feature a subtle but beautiful textured pattern around the leg and down the top of the foot, and is worked cuff down with a heel flap and gusset construction. Shorties are my personal favorite to wear and make - they seem to just FLY off the needles and one 100-gram skein of yarn is typically plenty no matter the size! The pattern is written for working with 9” circular needles, but could easily be converted if you prefer magic loop or DPNs.

During the introductory release, we were able to raise over $230 for Project Semicolon, a nonprofit organization dedicated to suicide prevention, awareness and mental health. Huge thank you to all who purchased a copy, shared, and supported throughout the month!

$1 from each Holly pattern purchase will continue to be donated to organizations supporting mental health and suicide prevention

Notes on sizing:

This pattern is written for 5 sizes, ranging from 5.75-9.25 in/14.5-23.5 cm finished sock foot circumference. It is recommended to choose a size that gives about 1-2 in/2.5-5 cm negative ease for a snug but comfortable fit. The sample size 3 (7.5 in/19 cm) is shown on an 8.5 in/21.5 cm foot. Let me know if you have any questions about sizing!

Pattern gauge:

4”/10 cm = 36 sts/52 rounds in stockinette worked in the round

Taken after wet blocking, using US size 1 (2.25mm) needles

Note: All measurements are approximate and taken after blocking. Inches are rounded to the nearest 0.25 in and centimeters to the nearest 0.5 cm.
