Honeycomb stitch wrist warmers with integral thumb

Use up your stash for this quick to knit finger-less mitten. Work quirky colour combinations, and odd pairs for a statement accessory. Knit extra-long to the elbow or short to the wrist, or work in a single colour to show case the honey comb texture.

Knitting ability: Easy

Skills required: You will need to be able to work a cable pattern and pick up stitches.

Materials:
I used 100% Italian Merino Wool in Aran weight from Baruffa in oatmeal 302 colour (Machine Washable), approximately 3 x 50g balls (68m/74y per 50g) but you could use any aran weight yarn, approx 157m/170y for the longer length.

Dimensions:
The dimensions given are for a long wrist warmer, you can naturally make this longer or shorter by working more or less repeats as required.

To fit Average Adult:
Length from Knuckles to Elbow: 32cm/12 ½ in
