Pattern is advanced beginner level. Skills required include stockinette and garter stitches, k2tog, ssk, m1 increase, binding off, and sewing seams. Embroidered decoration on clothes is optional. All pieces are knit flat, then seamed, stuffed, and assembled.

50 g of worsted weight yarn in white, pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, pink yarn for embroidering face, two 9 mm black buttons or safety eyes, stuffing, tapestry needle
Gauge/Tension
5.5 sts and 8 rows per 2.5 cm (1”) in st st

Lederhosen Materials
15 g of fingering weight yarn in brown or grey, pair of 3.25 mm (US size 3) knitting needles, 4 row markers, tapestry needle, scraps of coloured yarn for embroidery, ribbon or felt (optional)
