Knitted in 4 ply (fingering) yarn, these fun ankle socks were inspired by my Toy Story Crocs, I wanted some socks to match the outfit of my favourite character, Woody.
The socks are knitted from the cuff down using a provisional cast on. The ribbed inner cuffs are folded with a picot edge then a Latvian braid to match Woody’s waistcoat trim with a bandana added around the three needle join. The socks have a simple colourwork pattern for the ankle.
These instructions are provided for knitting in the round using the magic loop method.
