Humo is worked flat from the top down, starting with a garter tab. Stitches are increased along the edges to create a crescent shaped shawl.

A relaxing stockinette body with a beautiful lace pattern to feature the exceptional stitch definition and luster of the yarn.

3 skeins Nature’s Luxury Giverny (50% Wool, 50% Silk, 100 gr-273yds/250m).
Sample shown in color Ice Queen, used 809yds/740m.

US 7 (4.50 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles.
US 8 (5.00 mm) 24” (60 cm) circular or straight needles.
Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
In stockinette pattern (15 stitches x 30 rows), blocked = 4” x 4” (10 cm).
One lace pattern repeat (18 stitches x 16 rows), blocked = 4.5” x 1.9” (11.5 x 4.75 cm).
Gauge is not crucial at all, but will affect final size and yardage.
