An exciting fingering weight take on the Hyrule socks, Hyrule Revisited are the perfect socks for gifting, rescuing Princesses from the forces of evil, or lounging at home. The lace is created by a simple series of increases and decreases. Worked toe up, the textured, lacey top perfectly showcases hand painted yarns, and the contrast toe and stripes are a perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a mini-skein. The sample uses Lattes & Llamas Twinkle Toes Heel/Toe kit, which adds just a touch of sparkle to your socks.

These socks were designed to be easily customizable to suit your tastes:

You can certainly work them in a single color, or you could go wild and used several minis to create fun, one-of-a-kind stripes.

The pattern calls for an afterthought heel, and is ideal for 2-at-a-time socks, but you can easily sub in the heel of your choice if you would prefer to work the heel when you come to it, rather than as an afterthought.

Yarn
One skein 100g skien of fingering weight yarn. Optional: 1 (or more if desired) mini-skein in the same weight for stripes and contrast toes. Sample was made using Lattes & Llamas Twinkle Toes Kit (100 grams/ 400 yards Adventure Yarn + 20 grams / 87 yards Coffee Break Yarn) in ‘Pinkie Pie’.

Sizing
1(2, 3, 4) = 6.75(7.75, 8.75, 9.75)” circumference.

Designer Note
This pattern makes heavy use of K3tog (knit 3 together). I recommend using particularly pointy needles as that will greatly assist you in completing that st. Additionally, take care that your tension on the knit round occurring before each K3tog round is not tight as that will make it difficult to knit 3 together.
