This sweater is a top down hybrid and is designed to have a relaxed fit. The yoke is first knit in the round from bottom up starting with a provisional cast on at the widest part. After the stranded yoke is done, short rows are worked on the back of the sweater to shape the neckline. Body and sleeves are worked top down from the provisional cast on edge. This allows for easy neckline width customisation as well as body and sleeve lengths.

Utopia Project is a collaborative project between four Portuguese designers and two European yarn brands, BC Garn and West Yorkshire Spinners.
It was born out of a dream of their distributor for Portugal to show Portuguese knitters skills and creativity.
