The Into the Fade crochet hat pattern uses a single skein of We Crochet’s Chroma Twist Worsted Weight yarn which creates a beautiful ombre fade when worked up. This pattern is quick to make and gender neutral so it can be made for anyone. The pattern includes instructions for both Adult Medium and Adult Large sizes. This hat is designed to fit closely to the head.

• 5.0 mm Furls Crochet hook
• 5.5 mm Furls Crochet hook
• 1 Ball of We Crochet Chroma Twist Worsted in Preferred Color for each size – I used the colorways Wednesday and Narwal for my samples (100g/3.5oz, 197 yds/181m)
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors
• Tape Measure

Abbreviations:
• CH = Chain
• ST = Stitch
• SL ST = Slip Stitch
• SK = Skip
• SC = Single Crochet
• SCDEC = Single Crochet Decrease
• HDC = Half Double Crochet
• HDCDEC = Half Double Crochet Decrease
• DC = Double Crochet
• DC2TOG = Double Crochet Two Stitches Together in the Same Stitch
• FO = Finish Off

Finished Size:
• Adult Medium: 8.5” tall by 9” wide to fit 20 – 22” head circumference.
• Adult Large: 8.75” tall by 9.5” wide to fit 22 – 24” head circumference.
