This is the child version of the Istid sweater.

Istid is the Danish word for ‘ice age’.

Istid is a sweater/pullover knitted from the bottom edge and up with an all over ribbed brioche pattern. The sweater has a raglan yoke and long sleeves with traditional rib edges.

This pattern is made for at yarn with a gauge of 12 stitches per 10 centimeters (ribbed pattern) i.e. a yardage of approximately 100 meters per 100 grams. Size 10 years pictured in Naturuld from Hjertegarn.

The pattern includes directions for knitting a size 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 years with chest width of 68 (73, 78, 83, 88, 95) centimeters and a finished length of 42 (45, 48, 51, 55, 59) centimeters.

The pattern is written for a knitter who is able to follow written instructions, work knit and purl stitches as well as pick up stitches and make increases and decreases.

Materials: yarn, knitting needles and stitch markers.

I have a loyalty program where you can choose a free pattern after purchasing my patterns for at minimum of § 25.0.

The pattern does not include finished items yarn etc. The pattern only includes instruction for knitting the sweater/pullover.
