In most of Shakespeare’s plays, we are lucky to find that the fools are often far wiser than the other characters.

Skill Level: Intermediate, due to the sock construction and lace stitches.
Materials: Approximately 330-400 yards or 300-365 meters of sock yarn. The sock pictured are a size X-Large and used approximately 385 yds of Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock in the color “Lemon Curd”
Needles: US1 or 2.25mm sock needles (instructions are given for DPN or Magic Loop needles)
Tools: tape measure, scissors, and tapestry needle
Sizing: Small (Medium, Large, Extra-large) sizes measure 8(9,10,11) inches or 20.3(22.9,25.4,27.9) cm in circumference. The leg height, ankle depth, and foot length are all adjustable to size and preference.
Gauge: 8 stitches and 12 rounds per inch or 2.5cm in stockinette stitch
